• I've never really had that holistic client that I would really love. Somebody that's midsize, struggling with morale and turnover
• keeping that, you know, consistent, figuring out what works as a retainer or a subscription or something for leadership workshops has been tough for me
• I've struggled with just sort of that holistic like I'm here to build all your people programs. I'm here to, you know, build your people infrastructure
• a lot of what I do has felt like project work and one and done
• up and down. I started this out as kind of part-time four years ago when my kids were younger and now they're teenagers so they're kind of to a point where I can do this full-time. Um, and so I've just struggled in the last four years like one year I might make 80, one year I might make 50, one year I might make 30. Like it's just all over the board
• I haven't gotten to that point where I'm like replacing corporate income
• I spend a lot of human time on calls but it's not income generating it's like meeting with this referral partner or um planning like I help run a little online thing called HR connected
• I just give like a ton of my time. So it's a lot like 50% of my week is that human stuff, but it's not income generating
• I don't love them [handbooks and policies]
• I get a lot of opens and a lot of clicks, but it's not like converting
